A demonstration of the unmanned vehicle of the Lu Ban Workshop of D. Serikbayev EKSTU took place at the Nauryz celebration venue in the center of Astana. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan.
The car programming and route map development were carried out by the Workshop staff.
The unmanned transport demonstrated the possibility of integrating AI technologies into the Smart city infrastructure. This refers to the navigation system, data processing, and interaction with the urban environment.
The press service emphasized that such solutions will be implemented in Astana's infrastructure in the future. One of the directions of intelligent transport will be unmanned taxis.
The organizer of the race, along with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, was Halyk Bank. The credit institution stated the importance of such technological initiatives.
