A training laboratory for training personnel for the automotive industry has appeared at ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev in Almaty. The project was implemented in cooperation with Orbis Auto. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.
Students studying in the following areas will improve their skills at the laboratory:
- «Cars and Automotive Industry»
- «Cars, Road and Construction Machines»
- «Automotive Engineering»
The program creates conditions for training based on real technological solutions and equipment used in the modern automotive industry, allowing students to develop practical skills already in the learning process.
The key task of the university is to provide students with practical training that meets modern challenges, said Dinara Iskakovа, General Director of Orbis Auto. According to her, this is a professional start for those who will develop the automotive industry in Kazakhstan.
Rector of ALT University Meruert Zharmagambetova emphasized that the opening of the laboratory is a landmark event for the university. It demonstrates the possibility of building an effective system for training specialists.
In the framework of its mission, the university is consistently moving to a practice-oriented learning model. It is impossible to train competitive personnel, relying solely on theoretical knowledge.
Students, starting from the first year will be able to work with power plants, transmission elements, electronic control units and components of electrical systems of modern cars. They will perform installation, diagnostics and disassembly of components and assemblies.
