Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov visited the Kokshe Industry industrial zone. He inspected the MM Brick brick manufacturing plant, the oilseed processing complex of Sodruzhestvo Kazakhstan, and the project to build a logistics terminal of JSC Kedentransservice, the republic's government press service reported.
The head of government was accompanied by Kokshetau Akim Anuar Kumpekeev. He said that the total area of Kokshe Industry is 600 hectares.
By 2030, it is planned to attract about 40 investment projects worth more than 520 billion tenge.
On the territory of the industrial zone there is a production line for agricultural and municipal machinery of OOO Kazakhstan Agro Innovatsionnaya Korporatsiya. The company's CEO Oleg Balybin noted that in 2025 more than 4,000 units of equipment were produced. After the new phase is commissioned, output will increase to 5,000 units per year.
Bektenov said that it is important to quickly launch industrial projects and increase the level of localization in mechanical engineering. He instructed the Akimat of Akmola Region and relevant agencies to support the development of production at OOO Kazakhstan Agro Innovatsionnaya Korporatsiya. It is necessary to create favorable conditions for investment in Kokshe Industry.
