A 227-hectare plot was allocated for the CHP plant. The station's capacity will be 240 MW.

Workers have installed a power transformer, arranged temporary roads, and erected a construction headquarters. The active phase of construction will begin in April.

Equipment will be delivered to the CHP plant at the beginning of 2027. A comprehensive flue gas cleaning system will also be installed here. The station will comply with the requirements of Kazakhstan's Environmental Code.

The Prime Minister stated that the construction of the Kokshetau CHP plant is important for ensuring uninterrupted electricity and heat supply to the population. This is due to the growing number of social facilities, including schools and hospitals, as well as the commissioning of residential complexes.

The combined heat and power plant will be completed by March 2029. Bektenov instructed local authorities to promptly resolve all issues related to construction so that the work is completed on time.
