The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, together with government bodies and the state corporation "Government for Citizens", are transferring the top 10 services previously provided in public service centers (PSC) to online format, the press service of the department reported.
Their digitalization is aimed at reducing queues, saving citizens' time and increasing the transparency of procedures.
A key service - the issuance of electronic digital signature (EDS) - has been transferred to online format since August 2025. Now you can apply remotely and confirm your identity using biometric identification.
According to the ministry, almost 27 million EDSs were issued online from January to August 2025. Consequently, about 96% of signatures were issued online. This is quick and convenient for citizens.
The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry reminded that there are exceptions. The PSC operator can provide the service if a citizen of Kazakhstan has unsuccessfully tried to pass biometric identification 5 times.
In such situations, additional photo fixation is applied and a moderator check of identity is carried out.
Vice Minister Rostislav Konyashkin stated that the department is trying to make the provision of public services seamless and technological. For many Kazakhstanis, this is a saving of time, he concluded.
