Online selection of participants for the Central Asia Programming Championship will be held on February 28

Competitive programming competition will bring together IT talents from Central Asia

The International Sports Programming Championship Central Asia Programming Championship 2026 will be held as part of the Digital Qazaqstan 2026 forum in Shymkent. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan.

The competition will be attended by programmers aged 20 and older from:

  • Kazakhstan
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Uzbekistan
  • Tajikistan
  • Turkmenistan

The online selection will be held on February 28, and the final will be held on March 27 in Shymkent. This year, the event will bring together experts from leading technology companies in the world, including Meta, CEO AGI Lab and Khan Group, VP for Talent at Higgsfield AI, Google, Booking, TON Core.

The winner of the championship will receive 1.5 million tenge, second place will receive 1 million tenge, and third place will receive 500 thousand tenge. The competitions will be held individually, and the organizers will cover travel and accommodation expenses.

Central Asia Programming Championship is becoming not just a competition, but a real platform for forming a new engineering environment, strengthening regional cooperation and unlocking the potential of IT talents.
