Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov visited the Avtokomponenty KZ plant producing fire-fighting and special-purpose vehicles during a working trip to Astana. This was reported by the republic's government press service.
The head of government inspected the key areas of the production cycle. Plant director Aleksandr Pluzhnikov said that the enterprise's design capacity is 400 units of equipment per year.
What they produce:
- tank trucks
- crew transport vans
- municipal road maintenance vehicles
The assembled special-purpose vehicles are supplied to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, municipal services, and other customers.
Bektenov emphasized the importance of developing Kazakhstan's machine-building industry as one of the key drivers of industrialization.
The result must be measurable: more output, more jobs, higher quality.
The Avtokomponenty KZ plant began operations in Astana in January 2025. More than 5.1 billion tenge was required to implement the project.
