More than 40 innovative projects presented at a scientific exhibition in Almaty

Scientists from universities and research institutes took part in the event

A scientific exhibition featuring more than 40 innovative projects was held in Almaty. The event was timed to coincide with a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the ministry's press service.

The exhibition was held at Satbayev Kazakh National Research Technical University. Participants presented advanced developments in the field of digital technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), agriculture, nanotechnology, metallurgy, and the food industry. Many of them are of interest to business and can be monetized.

What was shown to exhibition guests:

  • construction materials made from industrial waste and thermal power plant ash (KazNITU)
  • a new water purification technology using activated carbon obtained from rice husks (Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata)

All projects are aimed at the growth of Kazakhstan's economy, ensuring environmental sustainability, and the rational use of mineral resources.
