More than 200 industrial facilities commissioned in Kazakhstan in 2025

Bektenov called for stimulating the development of manufacturing enterprises

In Kazakhstan, over 200 industrial facilities were commissioned in 2025, and just as many are in the final stages of construction. This was announced by Prime Minister of the Republic Olzhas Bektenov at a government meeting.

According to him, the current growth rate of the manufacturing industry is not enough to diversify the economy. It is necessary to stimulate the development of enterprises in this sector, the head of government emphasized.

Which projects are being implemented:

  • deep metal processing to obtain products with high added value
  • production of finished products in mechanical engineering and agriculture
  • development of geological exploration

In the next 3 years, the authorities will invest about 500 million dollars in geological exploration. An assessment of mineral deposits will be carried out on 100 thousand square kilometers of territory. These are the most promising areas. To increase the raw material base, private investments will be attracted to this area.
